Mr H. S. Khaira

Mr Khaira has been a consultant surgeon in Birmingham since 1999 and is registered with the GMC and is a member of The Royal College of Surgeons of England and of The Vascular Surgical Society. 

 

He studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities and then underwent surgical training in Birmingham as a General Surgeon with Vascular interest.

 

He was appointed at Good Hope Hospital as Consultant in 1999 and at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital in 2007.

 

He has extensive experience of treating patients with venous problems - including minimally invasive ('keyhole') methods.

 

As well as being a vascular surgeon, he is also a general surgeon and carries out hernia, gall bladder and thyroid surgery.
